developing Core requirement

Page/view change notified

Group: layout • Guideline: user-orientation

Summary in Plain English

When content causes a change of page or view, there is a visible change within the view and a programmatic notification of it.

Why It Matters

In a single-page application nothing reloads, so a screen reader user may not be told anything happened and can continue reading content that is no longer there.
