WCAG 3.0 is an active W3C Working Draft in development by the AGWG. Requirements, assertions, the conformance model and reporting tiers are still being developed and may change. The latest published draft is the 10 September 2026 Working Draft; this site follows the editorsโ draft, which also includes exploratory provisions.

Error Notifications Available
Group: error-handling • Guideline: correct-errors
Summary in Plain English
When the content can detect an error, it says so in text and describes what the problem is - not just that something went wrong.
Why It Matters
Colour or an icon alone tells a screen reader user nothing, and 'invalid input' tells nobody what to change. A described error in text is what makes the problem fixable.
