WCAG 3.0 is an active W3C Working Draft in development by the AGWG. Requirements, assertions, the conformance model and reporting tiers are still being developed and may change. The latest published draft is the 10 September 2026 Working Draft; this site follows the editorsโ draft, which also includes exploratory provisions.
An organisational assertion: the organisation states that it reviewed its components so that things with the same function behave the same way, use the same visual indicators and the same labels, and follow standard platform patterns where they apply.
Why It Matters
Inconsistent behaviour forces relearning at every encounter, which is exactly the cost people with cognitive disabilities can least absorb.
