WCAG 3.0 is an active W3C Working Draft in development by the AGWG. Requirements, assertions, the conformance model and reporting tiers are still being developed and may change. The latest published draft is the 10 September 2026 Working Draft; this site follows the editorsโ draft, which also includes exploratory provisions.
An organisational assertion: the organisation states that it has a process and policy for reviewing text for clear language before publication - meeting the Clear Language guideline's core requirements, choosing verb tense for ease of understanding, keeping paragraphs short, and opening informative paragraphs with a topic sentence - and that any style guide or author training covers these.
Why It Matters
Clarity is a property of how content is produced. A review policy is what makes it survive deadlines and changes of author.
