Audio Description Language Adjustable

Group: images-and-media • Guideline: audio-descriptions

Summary in Plain English

Where audio descriptions exist in more than one language, there is a way for the user to choose between them.

Why It Matters

A description in a language the viewer does not speak conveys nothing. This matters most for blind and low-vision users, who have no fallback to the picture.
